Gold Canyon Candles - Pick them up at the meeting

The candles will be delivered Tuesday evening. Please come and pick up your candles that evening. It will be much easier for you to bring your candles home then to have your student tote them around all day long.

Tickets are almost gone!

Spring concert is selling out fast! As of 10 am on 5/4/16, there are 135 tickets left. That means in less than a week, we sold 800 tickets!

Do not delay in purchasing your tickets. Every year there are parents who are extremely upset because they show up to the concert without tickets and are unable to watch the last performance of the year. Let's break this habit!

The cost of tickets is $8 each.

We encourage all incoming freshman and their families to join us at this concert! You will be able to enjoy see all of the performers for this year and get excited for what is to come!

We need volunteers for the Spring Concert!


People always say to me, "Chelly, I don't know how you do it!" I do it because I have great families like YOU that volunteer! I need some help some easy slots. Seriously - some of the jobs take less than 15 minutes, but I cannot physically do it myself because I am already volunteering at a specific point. Parents of Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors - please step up and allow our Senior parents the luxury of enjoying a concert just as a parent and not as a volunteer. You've heard me say this before - It takes a village to have a quality choir program like this. Please become part of the village people! :0)

We need volunteers to help have the Spring Concert run smoothly. Please visit our Sign up Genius to sign up for a spot (or two). Remember the people who choose to work as Ushers do not need to pay for a ticket.

There are over 1,300 audience members and performers. This concert cannot happen without some wonderful volunteers like YOU!

Descriptions of each task, time needed and chairperson are listed on the sign up genius! Grab a friend and volunteer!

Reminder all incoming Freshman in an upper choir are required to attend meeting

When: Tuesday, May 3rd

Time: 6:30 - 7:00 pm

Where: Teachers Lounge - go to the cafeteria. Once you're in the main doors turn right. The teachers lounge is on the right hand side.

This meeting is to go over the expectations of being in an upper choir at Horizon HS and also for the kids in Towne Criers/Step on Stage for their retreat.

Please consider staying for the ACCENTS meeting beginning at 7 pm. We will be showcasing some of the costumes for Broadway and talk about the 2016-2017 choir program.

All students at Horizon are required to wear their ID. Why not wear it in style? We have a limited quantity of lanyards left. First come first served. Cash only please.

You're invited to attend the ACCENTS Meeting

When: Tuesday, May 3rd

Time: 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Where: Horizon HS Cafeteria

Bring a towel or pillow to sit more comfortably.

This meeting is to go over the 2016-2017 choir program including voting and introducing the ACCENTS board. We will be displaying some of the costumes for Broadway.

Garment Bags, Duffle Bags, Blankets oh my!!!

Any student in an upper choir is required to have a garment bag. We wanted to let you know the business that we highly recommend is now on our website with their order form.

If you are just starting out in our choir program and want to purchase a little part of the "Choir Necessities" at a time please feel free to look at all that Oak Street Linen has to offer.
