Happy Spring LES Mustangs,
It is hard to believe the 2022-23 school year is quickly coming to a close! With the end of the school year approaching, many important events are taking place each week. Because of this, please stay updated on important end-of-year activities, testing, graduation celebrations, and other information by following our social media platforms, calendars, website, and this newsletter.
Every morning, I walk the halls of LES and see the smiles of our students and teachers as they engage in joyful learning and team-building activities. LES truly has the BEST students, families, teachers, and faculty members. I will undoubtedly miss our 5th-grade students once they graduate and progress to the next chapter of their lives in middle school. This fifth-grade class has shown to be an incredibly talented, aspirational, and optimistic group of students with bright futures.
I look forward to meeting our incoming kindergarteners at our next Kindergarten Registration event on Saturday, May 6th, in our school’s cafeteria. We are eager to welcome our new families to LES and introduce them to all of the exciting Mustang adventures that await them.
I wish each and every one of you success in your end-of-the-year tasks and exams, as well as memorable and joyful moments throughout the summer.

The following year, students in grades K, 1, 3 & 4 will use the same Chromebook. Students in 2nd grade will get new Chromebooks that are a different model from what they currently have and use.
- Summer is a great time to explore the outdoors and limit screen time. However, on those rainy days when outdoor activities aren’t available, or you want your children to keep up with some academic exposure, try the following:
