Bill of Rights
10th & 3rd Amendments
3rd Amendment:
"No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law." Those are the exact words of the third amendment, what that means today is, you can't be forced to house soldiers. The reason for putting this in the Bill of Rights, was because colonists where forced to house British soldiers, what that means is that they had to have a place for them to sleep and feed them it was essentially having a very large extension to your family, but a lot more awkward.
