From The Principal's Desk
Tēnā koutou katoa,
Welcome to the final newsletter of 2015, and an opportunity to sign off on another year's learning. I'd like to pass on a few final words of thanks to all those who have contributed to the wide range of successful events, activities and learning experiences for the children this year.
To my colleagues on the teaching team, I would like to acknowledge their hard work, dedication and commitment to helping the children to achieve personal and academic success in so many ways, supporting and encouraging each student to meet individual goals and overcome challenges. I'd like to once again particularly thank Carol, Colleen and Veronica for their contribution to our school and wish them all the very best for the future! To the support staff, my heartfelt thanks on a job well done, as always. We have an amazing team, from the office staff to learning support, library and property management, and we couldn't do it without you!
I'd also like to acknowledge my colleagues on the Senior Leadership Team, Brigette and Jonathan, for their outstanding work helping to realise our vision, keep everything running smoothly and continue to move forward as a learning community.
My gratitude also to an amazing Board of Trustees and PTA, who give so much of their valuable time to support our school and help us to provide the kind of rich and varied opportunities and learning experiences that we all believe our students deserve (including a record-breaking fundraising effort from the PTA team!). Our appreciation also, of course, to our friends at Barfoot & Thompson Titirangi and Titirangi Supervalue for their much-appreciated ongoing support as Platinum Sponsors of Titirangi Primary School.
Finally, I'd also like to add a personal note of thanks to my wife, Camilla, for always being there to support me and for understanding the considerable demands on my time!
Unfortunately, I will not be in school for the final days of the Term, as I leave early today to attend a family funeral overseas, and so will for now pass on my best wishes for the Christmas break, and wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year.
Thank you once again to everyone who helps make TPS such a special place to be a part of, and I look forward to seeing you again in 2016!

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you to all of our Community for supporting us throughout the year.
I am also delighted to announce that a cheque of $50,000 was presented to the school last week.
This is a phenomenal amount of money to raise and makes a huge difference to the running of the school.
