End of the Year Band Schedule



the week following our spring concert on May 10th, my responsibilities turn towards the 4th grade class preparing them for band recruitment. It's always hard for me to turn my current 5th graders loose after all of their progress and to think about starting all over again!

April/May Band Schedule

Tuesday, April 26 - Big Band at HMS 2:30-3:45 pm, percussion stays until 4:30 pm

Wednesday, April 27 - 7:45 am rehearsal and lessons

Tuesday, May 3 - Big Band at HMS 2:30-3:45 pm, percussion stays until 4:30 pm

Wednesday, May 4 - 7:45 am rehearsal and lessons

Tuesday, May 10 - Concert HMS Gym 7:00 pm, 6:15 pm report time

Wednesday, May 11 - NO EARLY BAND - lessons only (no instruments - band binder only)

Wednesday, May 18 - OFF - NO BAND

Wednesday, May 25 - 7:45 am rehearsal with instruments & Good bye Breakfast

Friday, May 27 - 2:15 pm, All School Meeting Performance (band students meet in the gym at 1:45 to set up and warm-up

We WILL have a brush up rehearsal on May 25th at 7:45 am to prepare for our performance at the May All School Meeting.

Please remind your child to bring their instrument and binder on Friday, May 27th. Students will meet in the gym to set up and warm-up at 1:45 pm.

The Madison All School Meeting is Friday, May 27 at 2:15 pm. If you are available - we would love to have you join us for our performance.

Wednesday, May 25th - 7:45 am - Bring instruments & binders

After a brush up rehearsal, we will have a light breakfast (bagel, cream cheese and water breakfast - ingredient list provided below). In addition, we will watch a video of their performance, make purchases from the Treasure Chest and talk about some things they can practice at their leisure over the summer.
