Basketball: In the July school holidays Aaron Bailey-Nowell (current NZ mens 3x3 Basketball team member) in conjunction with Precision Movement are running a 2 day basketball camp at TSB stadium for all kids aged 8-13yrs. Any level of basketball skill is welcome. If you need any further information or would like to enroll, please don't hesitate to contact Aaron on 0211511845.
Year 5/6 Interschool: This week out Intermediate rippa teams played in their competition held at the Race Course, on a splendid winters day. Both the boys and mixed team played outstanding rippa and played with a steely determination. Our mixed team were unbeaten during pool play and were 'robbed' of a place in the semis due to the first try rule in their draw with Hawera. In a particularly strong pool, the boys team were narrowly beaten for a place at the top of their pool for a semi position as well. Thanks to Mrs Phillips, Mrs Mace and Mrs Walker for transport and help on the day and also to the many parents who supported us at this event.
Wanted
Does anyone have a wooden balance bike they are not using anymore or a small bike with trainer wheels that we could have at school for one of our children with special needs to ride during the day? If so please contact the office. Thanks
