A Message From the Principal
Dear CHES families,
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our 5th graders last week at their AMAZING performance and to those who came out for the Lucky Clover on Saturday! A huge thank you to Mrs. Harris, Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Sthreshley, Mrs. French, and Mrs. Leavey for organizing those 2 amazing events for our students.
Last week, we announced our two CHES Students of the Year (K-2: Gabriella Soto and 3-5: Jonah Siefert). This week we will be announcing a student of the year for each classroom.
We also congratulated Sadie Peterson last week. She was surprised by the Superintendent, her parents and grand parents, Papa Johns, and the Richmond Raceway as they presented her with prizes for winning first place in the Bright Futures Writing Essay. We are so proud of you Sadie and thank you to Ms. Cavan for leading her students to a level of excellence!
We hope you are continuing to read The Chocolate Touch. This week we wrap up our One School, One Book!. You can click here to visit our website for everything you need to know and also view/listen to staff members read chapters.
Good luck to this year's BOB's team who will compete against Woolridge and Swift Creek this Thursday.
