Breakout Session 2 ~ Using Technology for Formative Assessment, Enhanced Review, and Immediate Feedback
Do you want your students asking “Can we do that again?” Kahoot allows teachers to facilitate informal formative assessment while engaging students in friendly competition. The best part … its FREE and the bells and whistles are already done for you! Learn about this and other FREE ways to use technology to formatively assess student understanding while differentiating student practice and enhancing student feedback such as Interact Math, Educanon, and Snapshot. We will also demonstrate link and file sharing using Remind and Dropbox as a technique for combined answer checking + intervention. Time permitting, we will guide the group through set up of at least one of these free resources and share other recommended resources.
