In order for students to perform their best on the PSSA tests, it is important that they feel their best! This newlsetter contains test-taking tips and strategies for optimal testing performance!

1. Get a good night's sleep.

2. Eat a good breakfast.
- The National Bureau of Economic Research indicates that school districts that increased calories on test days experienced increases in 5th grade pass rates of 11, 6, and 6 percent respectively on the Mathematics, English, and History/Social Studies tests. 3. Wear comfortable clothes.
4. Listen to, read, and follow all directions given.

Testing Documents
Visit DRC eDIRECT for all of your testing documents.
- Click on Documents under General Information.
- Choose 2015 Spring PSSA under Administration.
- Narrow down your search under Document Type.
- Click Show Documents.
PSTAT
There is an updated and revised Pennsylvania State Test Administration Training that is required for all individuals associated with state assessments to take. After the completion of the online interactive training and self-check quiz, print the Certificate of Completion to provide to your School Assessment Coordinator.
