Tuesday, 12/8--Balanced Literacy Book Study Part 1 in our library from 3-4 PM with Meghan Halbrook--Description: Balanced Literacy 101 will give you a basic layout of the different components of balanced literacy. I will give you a loose schedule to help you manage time for each of the components. We will spend the most time focusing on the Guided Reading aspect of Balanced Literacy and what this looks like in different grade levels. Join us if you are new, have questions, want to share/network, or want to earn Teacher Scorecard Points.

  13. Thursday, 12/10--Mr. Gentry to take Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Moore to the Scholastic Book Warehouse to purchase Spanish books for Classroom Libraries in the PM.

  20. Thursday, 12/17--POLAR EXPRESS DAY at Crippen--Wear your PJs, watch the Polar Express with your class, and join us for a Crippen Christmas Sing a Long at 1:30 PM in the cafeteria for Christmas Carols. Hot Chocolate will be served to all students in the AM by PTT.
