Thriving in Quarantine Times
Our hope is that this collective work will provide tools to help you thrive during this uncharted journey.
The COVID19 outbreak will have a significant impact on practice, structures and education as we know it. This can be a positive –if we shape it. Finding ways to use our tools, strengthen our capacity and support one another will refine us in a beautiful way.
We invite you to take time to explore a few new tools or visit some of your "favorites" to thrive through this journey. Use these tools to approach our new world with an abundance mindset, work together more effectively and stretch ourselves to think beyond our current reach. Find your spot---ask for help…take time to lean in and support one another as we connect grow and serve! Together we can emerge even stronger on the other side of COVID19- if we shape it now!

MINDFULNESS: Loving-Kindness Meditation
What Is Loving Kindness Meditation?
Loving-Kindness Meditation focuses on developing feelings of goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards others (Salzberg, 1997). Research shows that Loving-Kindness Meditation has tremendous benefits from greater well-being to providing relief from illness and improving emotional intelligence.
Using the phrases below (or phrases you prefer), repeat the words each time focusing on a different person/group. START WITH YOURSELF. This is often difficult for some individuals but it is like an oxygen mask...you put yours on first!
- Sending Loving-Kindness to Yourself
- Sending Loving-Kindness to the Neutral Party
- Sending Loving-Kindness to the Difficult Party
- Sending Loving-Kindness to a loved-one
Why not take a chance to increase positive emotions and decreases negative emotions?!
