A Note from Mr. Moeckel

Concord Families,

Thank you all so much for attending our Spring conferences. These moments are important as we continue to partner with you! If you were unable to attend conferences, I have encouraged our teachers to reach out with the hope of rescheduling.

Our spring parties are coming soon, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 2:15 pm. If you are planning on attending your child's classroom party, please sign up here. We are asking only one adult per student to attend and no siblings due to classroom space limitations. To help the check in process go faster, we will print name tags ahead of time for those who have had their ID scanned this school year. If you have not had your ID scanned this school year, it would be helpful to stop by Concord before March 16th to get it scanned. Also, please feel free to use the Farmers Club Parking lot to park for the event.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend,

Career and Technical Education Perceptions Survey

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of College and Career Readiness is seeking information from community members about general perceptions of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. CTE programs in Missouri schools encompass a variety of educational programs and pathways, including programs in Agriculture; Business and Marketing; Health Sciences; Family and Consumer Sciences; Skilled Technical Sciences (e.g. Automotive Repair, Collision Repair Computer Sciences, Construction, Law Enforcement, Machining, and Welding); and Project Lead the Way (PLTW).

This information is being collected by the DESE’s CTE Advisory Council and will be used to help guide the group in their decision making processes. Responses will be kept confidential and will be aggregated with other responses to help the council better understand how students, parents, business leaders, and educators see CTE in Missouri.
