Drop Off and Pick up Procedures
Student Safety
Spring is here and with better weather, we will have more students walking to and from school. I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents of drop-off and pick up procedures.
Morning drop off should take place on the East side of the building only and vehicles should pull ALL the way to the far letter "C" on the map. The last car in line should stop near the letter"B" after turning the corner. If your car is near the letter "B" please have your child exit the vehicle and walk to the gym doors.
Afternoon pick-up is slightly different as cars can line up on the North and East side of the school. Parents who want to arrive early or wait for their child should not BLOCK cars in the parking lot. There are plenty of spaces available to park on the East side of the building and wait for your child. (This also helps reduce the car line length)
Please respect the teachers who are serving as crossing guards and obey the signals they provide or the posted stop signs in the parking lot.
Respectfully,
Mr. Billingsley

Parent and Student Survey
Our school will be partnering with BrightBytes, an educational research and analytics organization so that we can learn more about our school’s technology use for student learning. Our goal is to gather metrics on technology access and skills as well as our school’s technology environment in order to understand the connection between technology use and student achievement. This will be done through a comprehensive framework called CASE that looks at the Classroom factors, Access to technology, teacher and student Skills and Environmental factors.
To gain these insights, we must provide BrightBytes with a complete picture of technology use at school and at home. We will be asking students, teachers, and parents to participate in the project and to provide input.
Your participation is important to us and will make the difference between having a complete versus a limited understanding of our school’s technology use. Please click on the link below to participate in our survey. Please contact the building principal if you do not want your child to take the survey (grades 2-8).
