Watson Wolverettes Perform at CASB
The Watson Junior High Wolverettes performed the National Anthem for the opening general session at CASB's 77th Annual Convention at The Broadmoor on December 1.
Congratulations to the five member girls choir including Shanelle Olds, Ciera Bowens, Mariah Swanson, Justus Minikin, Adeana Clemons, and their choir teacher Mrs. Hawke-Mcdermott.
Breakfast with Santa
Join the Widefield High School Marching Band on Saturday between 8-11 a.m. in the small gym at WHS. There will be pancakes, music, crafts and of course Santa Claus.
Adults $4, Children $2.
Watson Awaits Santa
Tiny elves are watching you in the library at Watson Junior High. Librarian Laura Garrett turned the staff into elves to make sure the students are nice this holiday season. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be excited to see their little helpers hard at work on the 20th!
Papa John's Coach of the Month
Congratulations to Widefield High School football coach Nic Olney on being named Papa John's "Coach of the Month." Coach Olney will receive a $250 gift card to use toward equipment and a pizza party for the team.

Students Learn Lifesaving Skills at Webster
Fifth grade students at Webster Elementary got hands-on experience being a trauma surgeon this week. The students just finished a 5-week session on the human body and various systems. Doctors from Memorial Hospital taught students life lessons using real-life medical experiences. The presentation was complete with scrubs and masks, medical mannequins, pig body parts to operate on and fake blood. Students learned everything from checking a pulse to chest compressions and even how to properly stitch a wound. They also learned the harmful impacts that drugs and alcohol can have on the body and why it's important to make good choices as they head into junior high.
Cole Munoz: Widefield to CSU Pueblo
Colorado Track XC Mile Split did a one-on-one interview with student-athlete Cole Munoz. The WHS senior had an amazing season running cross country and is taking his talents to CSU Pueblo. Read all about it HERE!
Wrestling Champs!
Ryan Krupp and Amaya Hinojosa, Webster 4th graders, took first place in their weight divisions at the King of the Mountain wrestling tournament in Castle Rock last weekend. Both Ryan and Amaya compete in the 10 and under division and are preparing for the state competition in February.
