From the Principal

Dear Bobcat Families,


I hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful summer and finding a way to stay cool! We are getting excited about the new school year and cannot wait to get started! The first day of school is approaching quickly and I wanted to make sure you have all the information you need to have a happy start to the school year.


The first day of school is Wednesday, August 10th. Important dates are listed below, and as we continue planning, I will continue to keep you informed. I will communicate with you each week between now and the start of school.

Registration

Our staff is back on campus and accepting registrations for the 22-23 school year.


If you have a child at home who will be attending Bush this year, please begin the registration process online.

1. Student social security card

2. Student birth certificate

3. Student immunization records

4. Parent ID

5. Proof of residency

Verification for Student Enrollment 2022-2023

VERIFICATION OF STUDENT ENROLLMENT is due August 5th. Please update your child's information: phone number, emails, address changes, custody concerns, and emergency contact list. This must be completed by August 5th.

When will I find out who my child's teacher is?

Homeroom teachers will notify all families by Friday, August 5th before the end of the school day. You will receive an email from your child's teacher welcoming them to their class.

Teddy Bear Tea

Kindergarten students will have an opportunity to meet their teacher at Teddy Bear Tea on Monday, August 8th at 1:00 PM. Your child is welcome to bring a stuffed animal or teddy bear with them. Students will enjoy a story with their teacher in their new classroom while parents hear a short presentation by school administration and counselors in the cafeteria.

Meet the Teacher

First through fourth grade students will have an opportunity to meet their teacher on Monday, August 8th between 4 and 6pm. This is a come and go event. If you pre-ordered your child's school supplies, they will be on your child's desk. If you did not, you are welcome to drop off your child's supplies at this time.
