What is Malaria?
Malaria is an intermittent remittent fever caused by a potozoon parasite that invades the red blood cells. The parasite is transmitted by mosquitoes.

In the book Little House on the Prairie the Ingalls family gets sick from what we call now Malaria,but back then they called it fever 'n auge. The way it happend was that Laura and Ma went to go pick berries while Pa was hunting and Mary was minding baby Carrie back at the house. Where the Ingalls lived thier was a creek and mosquitoes are attracted to water so Laura and Ma were over near the creek so when they were picking the berries they were bitten. Mrs.Scott came to help and a docter came to take care of them.
How Malaria can be prevented
Malaria can be prevented by getting treated bed nets and then when your sleeping you can put it over yourself and it with prevent you from getting bitten by mosquitoes.
How does someone get Malaria
A way that someone can get malaria is by getting bitten by a mosquito that is carrying the disease.
What are some parts of the world that malaria is in
The disease is mostly in Africa and India.
