Do We Have Your Most Current Contact Info?
It is critically important that our main office has the most current contact info for the families of each of our Little Leopards. Please make sure that if your phone number, home address, or email address changes that you provide the updated information ASAP. This ensures that there are no issues regarding after school transportation for the student, contacting families in the event of illness or an emergency, and providing families with timely notification about a school delay.
If you need to update phone or address info, please reach out to the main office via phone at 503-842-7501, or via email at libertyschool@tillamook.k12.or.us.

Report Cards
Report cards came home with your child on Thursday, Dec 8th or Friday, Dec 9th if they were at school. For students who were not able to attend school on either day, their report cards have been mailed home. Please remember that report cards reflect mastery of end of the year grade level standards, and not yet meeting most standards is exactly where we expect our students to be as the year is only 1/3 complete. There is still so much learning to happen. Direct any questions about the report card to your child's teacher.
Winter Themed Happenings This Week
Our last day of school for students before Winter Break is Thursday, December 15th. There are many fun events planned on this day.
- It is Ugly Christmas Sweater or Pajama Day - see flier below for more details.
- The THS Choir will be caroling in our halls in the morning (around 10:15 am). Our students LOVE it when the big kids come and visit.
- Every classroom will have a winter party to celebrate all the learning and fun that has happened during the first part of the school year. (Remember - if you want to volunteer to help with a party, you must be on the district's approved volunteer list.)
Main Door Remote Entry
Too Sick for School?
Living and working with our school family means that we are exposed to a whole bunch of new germs all at once. And, now that the weather has changed and it appears that fall has arrived, we thought it would be important to remind our families of the Oregon Health Authority's school exclusion guidelines.
- FEVER - If your child has a fever over 100.4 they must stay at home. They are allowed to return to school 24 hours after they are fever free with no fever reducing medication.
- COUGH - If your child has a persistent cough that is severe enough to interfere with participation in usual school activities, your child must stay at home. They may return to school once the cough is well-controlled.
- DIARRHEA - Your child must remain at home when experiencing diarrhea. They may return to school 48 hours after diarrhea has stopped.
- VOMIT - Your child must remain at home when vomiting. They may return to school 48 hours after the vomiting has stopped.
Students who have mild colds are welcome at school. We teach our students how to help keep it safe by using universal precautions - frequent hand washing, covering coughs, using tissues, etc. If you have any questions about your child's ability to attend school due to symptoms of illness, please do not hesitate to contact our main office at 503-842-7501.
Meal Card Lanyards - Reminder
Please continue to send your child's meal card lanyard with them to school daily. These meal cards make our service process much more efficient. If something has happened to your child's meal card, please let your child's teacher know so we can get them a new one.
Want to Help in the Classroom or Serve as a Chaperone?
Please make sure you have completed the Volunteer Paperwork and are on the District's approved volunteer list. Designation as an approved volunteer is good for 3 years, so you won't have to renew your eligibility until your child attends South Prairie!
