Welcome to Bronco Online Learning
Tejas School of Choice - Week of April 27, 2020
A Message from Principal Dr. Lozano-Lerma
It's a great day to be a Bronco!
I hope each of you are doing well and staying safe. We care about you and we are here for you. We are committed to helping our students. We are striving for our students to reach their academic goal of graduation.
Students will be receiving grades for our quarter 4 semester. It is important to complete your weekly work and submit it so your teachers can grade it. Teachers will be submitting grades for students during online learning. We want to make sure that you are working on earning your credits, to do so, you need to do your work and submit your assignments weekly.
Teachers will be compiling a list of students that have not submitted their work and our intervention will be our virtual lunch bunch. Virtual lunch bunch is an opportunity for students to get caught up with their work on Wednesdays. If students still have not completed their work, then our progress monitoring meetings will be scheduled with teachers, administration, students, and parents. We want all of our students to be successful and these meetings are to help our students to get caught up with their work and earn credit for quarter 4, which will be shown on the report card.
As a reminder, students need to be submitting their online coursework on a weekly basis. Teachers will be reviewing, grading, and providing help to our students. Teachers meet every Monday with students during their online meetups. Students make sure you are attending your Monday meetups and completing your online work and submitting every week.
Our teachers will be following the YISD Grading Rubric for Online learning.
Wishing all administrative assistance a fantastic week. The hard work and dedication that you put into our school is amazing. Thank you Liz, Gloria, and Monica for providing excellent customer service to us all. We appreciate you.
