Brayton Bee
Who's Brayton Bee?
Say “hello” to Brayton Bee! He’s our school mascot. He was designed by an artist with a wonderful future called Molly – well done Molly!
Brayton Bee.....
- is hardworking
- never gives up
- is part of a team
- gets on with his own job
- co-operates to get the job done well
- is important to the success of the team
- Just like everyone here – together we will shine as one!
What does Brayton Bee do? Usually, when Covid isn’t around……..
The children earn Brayton Bee tokens to put in a class collection. The bees are counted at the end of the week. Once a class has earned 1500 bees, that class is rewarded with an afternoon of Golden Time with Mrs R. They can bring in their own games, wear non-uniform and Mrs R brings juice and biscuits.
How do the children earn bees?
From any member of staff who spots them doing the right thing – exhibiting one of Brayton Bee’s traits as above or one of the school values. Once awarded, bees will not be taken away, but the children will need to work hard to prove they deserve one! Bees will also be awarded for prizes in competitions coming up this year.
So children – get busy as a bee and collect lots of bees for your class – everyone loves Golden Time!
Brayton Bee’s Rhyme
I’m Brayton Bee – I’m a family guy.
I’m buzzing and busy as the day rolls by.
I flit and I fly, helping flowers to grow.
When my work is done, then away I go.
Back to my hive with pollen I race.
Helping to make it a sweeter place.
Be smart, work hard, with a smile like mine.
And earn those bees for Golden Time!
