Where Learning Comes First
Principal's Post
Dear Head Community,
The Talent Show was a blast! Seeing our families come together to honor our students' talents was my favorite part! I want to thank Stephanie Richter and Kelly Mraz for all their efforts behind the scenes. There would be no talent show without them!
We are gearing up for next week's parent/teacher conferences. Please make sure you have made an appointment with your child's teacher and let him/her know if you would like the conference in person or virtually. As a reminder, we will not be permitting parents to eat lunch at school on March 1st or 2nd due to our many schedule changes.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Media Center: March 2nd is Read Across America Day. Since it is early release, we will be celebrating on Friday March 10th by inviting everyone to dress like a storybook character! Start planning your costume.
To celebrate National Reading Month, we are challenging all students to increase their reading. Let's see how many words we can read during the month of March! Be sure to take AR tests so it will keep track of your number of words.
We also have some fun reading suggestions for the month of March (in calendar below).
Keep reading...because reading makes you smarter...
...And exercise makes you happy! Teach yourself a layup for fun, fitness, and feeling good!
