MCES Weekly Top Five For Parents
UPDATES AND REMINDERS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 15
A Message from The Administration Team
Greetings Montclair Families,
As always, the Montclair Elementary School staff would like to thank our families for the transition into Plan B. Yesterday's drop-off and pick-up went very well, and we would like to thank you for your patience. The administration team would like to remind our families of a few crucial details.
As mentioned before on Classdojo, for the families who would like transportation for Plan B, please keep in mind that if you have not requested transportation in January, your student has not been assigned bus transportation. Any families that would like to request permission for transportation, please contact your teacher to be placed on our transportation list. Also, as a reminder, you forfeit your child's bus riding privileges, they will be removed from our transportation list. Your child will not be reassigned possibly until after the first two weeks of school. If you are a parent with a child in First and Second who rides the bus and would like to permit them to get off the bus without an adult being present at the bus stop, you will need to fill out the Bus Stop Authorization Form linked to the Top Five List.
Parents, please be reminded that it is vital that any day that your student will come to school in person, you will need to fill out the Qualtrics Symptom Screener. Our school will be sending out the daily screener. The parents must complete the survey through the student's email. We know that this can be tedious, but it is vital to the safety of all personnel in the school building. Students who ride the school bus are expected to have this complete before getting to the building. As we are getting used to this, we are working with our families. However, next week our school will be documenting bus riders whose families fail to complete Qualtrics. If parents continue to fail to complete the Qualtrics Symptom Screener Survey, this could lead to students losing bus riding privileges. If you have any questions about this, please contact the administration team. You can find the daily symptom screener information in the Top Five List.
Lastly, please have your student Chromebooks prepared to be brought to school every day they attend in-person learning. Chromebooks should be charged and ready to be used in the building.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns for administrators, please feel free to click on our google meets linked to this page's bottom. If not, we encourage you to have a Terrific Tuesday.
