Students use digital tools to broaden their perspectives and enrich their learning by collaborating with others and working effectively in teams locally and globally.
Students:
a. use digital tools to connect with learners from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, engaging with them in ways that broaden mutual understanding and learning.
b. use collaborative technologies to work with others, including peers, experts or community members, to examine issues and problems from multiple viewpoints.
c. contribute constructively to project teams, assuming various roles and responsibilities to work effectively toward a common goal.

Martine Brown
Martine (MAR-TEEN) Brown is the Ready 1:1 Instructional Coach for Garland Independent School District. With 13 years of experience in education, Martine has worked with students as an English Language Arts and AVID Elective Teacher. She is proud to call Rowlett, Texas her home and Rowlett High School will forever be deemed her Eagle family. In her current role as an instructional coach, she provides school and district level professional development, job-embedded support for effective strategies of 21st century learning, and models effective instructional and digital strategies with teachers. She most recently served as a presenter for ISTE as a 1 in 3 presenter in San Antonio. Her mantra is that “Every Student Counts” and it is her mission to help all students and teachers reach their goals.
