Holiday Break

The ASSE holiday break runs from 1:30pm on Tuesday 12/22 through Sunday 1/3. Our first day back at work is Monday 1/4. The break is meant for all of us, so please encourage your families to let non-urgent matters rest during this time. Remind your families to contact you for emergencies only when the health or safety of a student is involved. Should a student need medical attention, encourage families to let you know immediately, and call to let me know what's going on. I can help you walk the family through supporting the student and using the students' health insurance.

New students for next year

We have two new students for the 2016-17 school year already assigned to our area: Maya from Germany, and Anne from Denmark. They both look like great girls! You can take a peek at their profiles in the database under "Assigned students" for 2016-17, and get to know them so that you can start thinking about who a good host family for each girl might be. Below are a couple of eye-catching promotional graphics for each girl that you are welcome to post publicly on social media or elsewhere. Simply save them as jpegs to your phone or computer, and share them with anyone who might be interested in hosting one of these wonderful students.
