Ms. Smith's Weekly Newsletter
February 7th, 2020
I hope you had a great week! We certainly did here! On Wednesday we had World Read Aloud Day. We read with 5th grade, 2nd Grade, and Mrs. Kastrounis was a guest reader. We LOVED it.
SEESAW
I'm so sorry for all of the posts of Seesaw today. I got a little behind on it. Two thing about Seesaw:
1. The pictures of books are books that your learner is interested in purchasing.
2. Please remember that not all posts on Seesaw will be correct. Often times, its for me to use to see what I need to reteach to the class or to small groups. It also gives a glimpse into their progress.
GREEN MUSIC PERFORMANCE
On February 11th, we have our music performance. We will have a performance for the school in the morning, and then after school, we will have a performance for the parents. Our theme is "Follow your Dreams," so we get to wear PAJAMAS that day!! We ask that every learner wear PJ's in order to look cohesive on stage. More information to come!
VALENTINES DAY PARTY
Our House-wide Valentine's Day Party is fast-approaching. It'll be held between 2:00PM and 3:00PM on Thursday, Feb 13th, in the Green House Space. Please help us by volunteering your time for the party and/or by sending one of the supplies we need for the party. See the sign-up here:
