From the Principal

We have one week until Spring Break and next week is the beginning of March--this semester just seems to be flying by at LSRO!

Over Spring Break, we will have a Spring Break Math Flip Grid Challenge! See below for more information and a flyer with all the details will come out next week, so stay tuned! It's going to be a lot of fun!

As we near the end of the 3rd nine weeks of school, reach out to your child's teacher and find out what you can work on at home with your child. Maybe it's taking time to read a little bit more every night, maybe it's working on problem solving, find out today! Let's stay strong with our academics during these last 11 weeks of school! We can do it!

Have a great weekend!

When you are ready to lead, you have the ability to understand others’ emotions and meet the needs and concerns of others around you. You think about how your words and actions will affect others. You take the time to notice how others are feeling. By doing these things, you are using the leader attribute, Social Awareness.

This weeks I will statement

“I will be more socially aware with how my actions will affect everyone around me.”

As we wrap up this month's military academies spotlight we learn about the Marine Corps University in Quantico, VA. The gold and scarlet Bulldogs graduated 26 officers in their first year as an academy. They were the newest branch of the military until the official launch of the Space Force by President Trump. The Marines study advanced studies in combat and special tactics. Visit to learn more.
