JUMP ROPE FOR HEART FUNDRAISER
The final total is in from the American Heart Association. Worcester students (Grades 2-4) and staff collected $5294 in donations for Jump Rope for Heart! Thanks to all who participated and assisted with this worthwhile event.

The week of March 14 to March 18 was Art Goes to School Week at Worcester Elementary! Thank you Home and School for sponsoring this annual event in our Art classes!

SKYVIEW UPPER ELEMENTARY HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION FOR 2016-2017/18
In compliance with the Home & School by-laws, a nominating process has been established. We would like everyone to consider carefully the positions listed below. These positions can serve for 1 or 2 years.

Nominations are requested no later than April 30, 2016. Elections will be held at Skyview’s Home & School meeting, Thursday, May 12th at 7:00 PM. You must be present at this meeting to be considered for election.
President:
The President shall prepare the agenda and preside at all meetings of the Association and the Executive Board; shall coordinate the work of the officers and the committees; shall perform all other duties pertaining to the office.
Vice President:
The Vice President shall act as an aid to the President(s) and will have all the powers and shall be required to perform all the duties of the President in his/her absence or inability to serve.
Treasurer:
The Treasurer shall receive and disburse all monies of the Association in a timely manner and shall keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures. Among other duties, the Treasurer shall present a statement of account at every meeting of the Association and other times when requested by the Executive Board and/or the Presidents(s).
Corresponding Secretary:
The Corresponding Secretary shall conduct the correspondence of the Association and perform such other duties as requested by the Executive Board.
