School Accreditation

We are very excited to share that not only have we received our 5 year school accreditation from Cognia, but our school also received extremely high performance scores. Our score out of 400 is 387.50. The average range of scores over the past five years for all institutions evaluated by Cognia was 278.34 to 283.33. We appreciate all that you do for our school and we thank those who participated in the interviews with the Review Team.

FSA Testing in the Month of April

On February 15, 2021, the Florida Department of Education issued Executive Order No. 2021-EO-01 that modified requirements for the State of Florida Sprint Assessment. It is effective immediately and will remain effective through the 2021 summer semester. The order extends the testing windows which will allow for fewer students to be on campus on any particular testing day. The State of Florida does not allow for testing from home or another non-school site. If a student is not physically present by being in school for the exam, the student will be marked absent. Students who are currently learning remotely must come into the school building to take their scheduled test(s). The State of Florida does not provide a parental opt-out mechanism, including writing to your child’s school or to the District. Schools will follow existing COVID-19 related health and safety protocols at all times, including mandatory wearing of face masks, temperature checks, physical distancing, daily cleaning and sanitation of classrooms and throughout the school before and after test administration.

Testing in April includes 3rd grade ELA and 4th-8th ELA Writing.
