A Note from the Office

Kindergarten
Mrs. Cracas's students learning to read independently and with a partner. So much fun!
During Writing Workshop in Mrs. Fern’s Kindergarten Class, the students are learning that they are writers just like the authors and illustrators of the books we have been reading. We read and studied various picture books and learned how the authors and illustrators crafted their books. The students learned that children can write and draw about what they know, too. They have been writing and drawing about something they know about and share their writing each day with their writing partner. These students are sharing their writing with each other.
First Grade
Mrs. Campbell’s first graders are superheroes in training! They are learning all the wonderful character traits of being a hero and using them in their classroom every day. This photo was taken at Welcome Back Night, when the students showed their parents their training facility!
