Welcome Back!
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at McClarin High School! I am excited that we have had so many students return face-to-face this year to work towards their academic goal of graduating high school. I know school, in particular high school, is a stressful time for many. For this reason, it is imperative that you advocate for yourself and communicate any needs you may have. I, along with all faculty and staff, want to fully support you in your academic endeavors. We are planning new and exciting things this year that I hope you enjoy and find beneficial.
When you are feeling discouraged and want to give up, always remember, Success Is The Only Option at McClarin.

Teacher of the Year - Ms. Nicole Brown
Nicole Brown is an Educator with a passion for math. She has served as an Educator with Fulton County Schools for more than 10 years. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Nicole attended Clark Atlanta University and Georgia Institute of Technology and received a dual degree in Education and Industrial Engineering from these prestigious institutions. She also received a Masters of Arts in Teaching Math from Clark Atlanta University. Having worked in corporate America for several years, Nicole felt a void in her heart. She knew she had more to offer the world and becoming a Teacher was a chance for her to start anew and feel like she was truly contributing to society. She felt that she could relate to students, be able to guide them and ultimately help them learn to be successful. Nicole felt if she was fair, firm, slightly humorous, when appropriate, and consistent, she could somehow reach them.
Nicole is proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a member of the nationally recognized Fulton County Vanguard Team. Her engaging instructional curriculum earned her the title of Teacher of the Year in 2015. She is the mother of two sons, Niko and Morey.
Professional of the Year- Dr. Nykole Hudson
Dr. Hudson enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Edward and three children Edward Jr., Elle and Emeri.
