Climate Change
Nadia Wallace
Why and how is climate changing?
Sunlight passes through the atmosphere and warms the earth surface.
How do we view our future environment?
Gases that contribute to the greenhouse effect include: water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and chlorofluorocarbons.
What do we want the environment to be like in the future?
Less polutation,less gases.
what is climate change
Climate Change is most known as “global warming” and “the greenhouse effect”.
Atmosphere Global warming refers to the build-up of artificial gases in the that trapped the sun’s heat, causing changes in weather patterns on the world.
The effects include:
- changes in rainfall patterns;
- a rise in sea level;
- potential droughts;
- loss of habitat; and
- Heat stress.
