1-Ideas
You should come up with an idea that interests you, one that grabs your attention.
2-Organization
Organize your paragraph:
- Topic Sentence, green
- Main Ideas with Transition, yellow
- Details/Tell me more, red
- Conclusion, green
3-Voice
Try not to use the same words over and over again. Try to use a voice that attracts the reader.
4-Word Choice
Use specific nouns and verbs. Use exiting adverbs and adjectives. Also use a thesaurus or dictionary.
5-Sentence Fluency
Combine some short sentences into some long sentences. Use a variety of starting and ending words.
6-Conventions
Use a different sheet to revise. Revise carefully to make sure you don't miss anything. Check things like: punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
