Declaration of Independence
This document was written an July 4, 1776. Fifty-six men sighned the Declaration of independence, including John Hancock,Thomas Jefferson,and Benjamin Frainklin. This document was sighned in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania. The writer of the Declaration of Independence was Thomas Jefferson.
U.S. Constitution
the U.S. Constitution has 4,400 words. It is the oldest and shortest constitution of any major goverment in the world.It was sighned by thirty-nine delegates including "The Father of the Constitution" James Madison. This constitutin also includes the Bill of Rights wich are the first ten admendments oft the U.S. Constitution.
Emancipation Proclamation
This document was written by the sixteenth president, Abraham Lincoln. It was made as a proclamation to free the slaves in the Confederate States of America. It was issued first in september 22, 1862, and then in January 1, 1863.
American Revolution
Officially, the war began on April 19, 1775 on the grounds at Lexington and Concord. the war begain because the colonies did not like how King George ruled. the leader of the American forces was George Washington
