Henry Moseley
(1887-1915) Henry Moseley was a skilled physicist.
Background Information:
Henry Moseley was a British chemist, who studied under Rutherford. He developed the X-ray spectra to study the atomic structure. This resulted in rearranging elements on the Periodic Table by their atomic numbers, and how many protons it has. This discovery quickly removed the problems in the table. He also created what is called an atomic battery that is now used in every day life. Moseley also predicted 4 new elements not yet found, and were later discovered by various scientist.

Beta-Particle
The positive charge on radium increases when it loses negative charges. From this he discovered the world's first Atomic battery.
Add a Proton to an Element it makes a New Element
An element is defined by its number of protons. If an element has one proton it MUST be hydrogen, if it has two protons it MUST be helium, and so on.
Atomic Battery
Moseley's discovery of the atomic battery is now used to explore Mars, and used in pacemakers.
