Greetings Chargers,
I hope that you had a great weekend. Tomorrow begins our Spring Break. The building will be closed Monday and Tuesday. There will be limited building hours Wednesday through Friday. No administrators, teachers, or counselors will be in the building. Have a relaxing Spring Break.

Our Charger Athletes Continue to Lead the Charge!
Congratulations to our JV and Varsity Volleyball as well as our JV and Varsity Football teams for their wins this past week.

March is National Athletic Training Month. The Chancellor High Community would like to thank Lane Catlett for all his hard work in tending to the needs and injuries of our Charger athletes.

At this time, due to COVID-19 restrictions, only guests of the players are allowed to attend Home events. Each player will be allowed 2 guests. Tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets are sold at the games. For those that are not able to attend....you can view our sporting events live thru the NFHS network. Masks must be worn by guests regardless of whether or not the sport is played indoors or outdoors.

Chancellor Poetry Workshop
Chancellor's Poetry Club has an upcoming workshop opportunity for SCPS middle school and high school students as well as educators.
We are hosting the "Poetry to Empower: Using personal experience to inspire creativity" workshop, featuring award-winning poet Saida Dahir, on March 31st at 5 PM EST via Google Meet. Dahir will be leading the workshop that will include 30-45 minutes of instruction and 15-30 minutes of Q&A. Dahir will also be performing a piece of her own poetry.
The event is open to all SCPS students and educators; they may register for the event with this link NLT March 29th at 11:59 PM EST.
Message from the CHHS Counseling Department
School Counselors are scheduling students next year during their PE 9, PE 10, and US History classes. 11th grade CGS students will be contacted by email to set up an appointment. If students are absent during the designated scheduling block, counselors will reach out to the student to reschedule.
Seniors: Don't forget to check out the scholarship list in Naviance. It is updated weekly.
SAT information: If you are interested in registering for the SAT, please visit www.collegeboard.org for more information on possible testing dates this spring.
Germanna Community College Application Night for Chancellor High School will be April 1st from 6 pm - 7 pm. Register ahead of time: https://www.germanna.edu/appnights/
Teachers for Tomorrow Applications are due March 26th. Do you have aspirations of being a teacher someday? If so, contact your school counselor for the application.
