Last Dance Expectations

The end of the year is near and the farewell dance is coming up! Join us for the Wilson Farewell Dance on June 2nd from 7pm to 9pm in the Wilson Gym. The tickets are $5 and the student council will be selling them at lunch the week of the dance. If you need help paying for these tickets, talk to Ms. Nermana, Mrs. Clavette, Mrs. G.V, Mr. Erlandson, Mrs. Augustine, etc. You can wear either what you wore to school that day, or you can dress up. (Dress, dressy pants, button up shirt, skirt, etc.) The doors will open at exactly 7:00 pm. You must get picked up at 9:00 when the dance ends. Failure to follow the Warhawk Way (positive language, hands off, cooperating with adults, etc.) will result in being sent home. Only Wilson students may attend the dance, nobody from other schools! There will be a concession stand at the dance. Everything will be $1, except for Bubblr’s. Bubblr’s will be $2. You are not allowed to leave the building and re-enter it. Once you leave, you are not allowed back in.

Chromebook and Charger Collection

Please be sure your student's Chromebook and charger are returned to Wilson by June 1st. We will start collecting them on Wednesday, May 31st. Thank you!

End of School Year Reminder Regarding Student Medications

As we are approaching the last weeks of the school year, here are a few reminders if your child has medications at school:

☑️ All medications must be picked up by an adult prior to the last day of the school year. Any medications left at school after the last day will be properly disposed of by the MPSD Nurses.

☑️ If your child is attending summer school and will need the medications there, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to bring the necessary medication to summer school on the first day of each session and pick it up on the last day of each session.

☑️ Whenever possible, daily medications should be administered at home prior to arriving at summer school.

☑️ All medication orders on file for this current school year are still in effect for summer school. New orders would need to be obtained again prior to the start of the 2023-24 school year.

Summer Opportunities

There are plenty of ways students can stay engaged with learning over the summer - while having fun and getting a break from the school year. Check out the opportunities offered in the MPSD Summer School and by our community organizations.
