Habit 3: Put First Things First
By: Jen Paul
Your Success Comes First Before Anything Else
Being able to make a name for yourself in your future on your own should be your first priority. For example, getting good grades will help you go to a good college so can preform in a career where you will be able to stand on your own two feet. Other things like ditching school and disruptive behavior will get you no where.
"How can developing a Habit of Highly Successful Teens make our HSC community better?"
Well, if we can get our HSC community to strive for the same goals, we can all work together and help one another to achive them. By doing so, we can give each other a cause to want to feel comfortable engaging with people you might not know who are after the same goal as you. Maybe you might even make a friend along the way. And then you can make your HSC community even bigger.
"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." John F. Kennedy
What can you better your school? Everyone plays a role in their school. Either you can work together, or you can go your separate ways. If you want to make your HSC community better, than everyone should come together and help everyone achieve their goals as one.
