Greeting from Ms. Holmstrom.
Dear Parents and Students,
We have completed our first WOW week (Week of Welcome). Students came in their blue and gold, wearing Jerseys, and dressing to impress. It was great to see all of our school pride and it's just the first week.
I wanted to take a moment to tell you about a new program we will be starting at GMS. It is called the Renaissance Program. It was been created by Josten's which some may remember as the class ring people. The idea behind this program is to promote positive school culture and climate. We will be starting one of their programs called Above and Beyond Awards for students. Throughout the month teachers will nominate students who they catch going above and beyond what is expected. At the end of the month, we will announce the winners and will tell the students the staffulty who secretly nominated them. We will have some tasty treats. Hoping all of our students go above and beyond!
If you have any questions, I have an open-door policy please stop in or contact our office at (856) 456-7000, ext. 4008. Best wishes for a safe and successful school year.
As always,
GO LIONS!!!
Ms. Jennifer Holmstrom

Starting on Monday, students will start to receive their Chromebooks. We are a 1:1 district that means that every student will receive a device. In order to keep our students 21st century ready, we use all of the Google platforms and on-line opportunities we can provide even down to our agenda books. We use Google Calendar. We are "ALL IN". Let's make sure we treat them respectfully and are careful with them.
Thinking of joining a club? How about the Math & Game club for grades 6th through 8th?
We meet on Mondays until 4 pm.
