A note from Miss Walker

We officially have 4 weeks of school left! These next several weeks will be filled with activities, learning, and fun, but we will still be expecting students to follow positive behavioral procedures. Also, as the weather is getting warmer, please make sure your children are following our school dress code policy! Now that we are finished with ISTEP, we will be finishing our reading of The Lightning Thief, and spending a great deal of time working on our Greek Mythology research projects. Let's have a wonderful week!

End of the Year - Important Dates!

The month of May always brings several exciting events and important dates for the students! Here is a list of important items that are coming up as our year draws to a close:

Wednesday, May 11th - Middle School visit (10am)

Friday, May 13th - Library closes for the year - ALL books must be turned in!

Wednesday, May 18th - 6th grade Band & Choir Concert (2pm at SG & 7pm at HS)

Thursday, May 19th - Field Trip to Victory Field

Friday, May 20th - 6th grade Career Day

- LAST day to take AR tests

Wednesday, May 25th - Survivor Day (Field Day)

Thursday, May 26th - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL (Awards Day - 9am, 6th grade dance - 1:30pm)

Classroom Citizen of the Week

Paige Profitt was once again chosen as our Classroom Citizen of the Week! Paige was selected by her classmates for this honor because she is helpful, respectful, follows directions, and helps out her fellow classmates! Way to go, Paige! :)
