What happened to Fall? ❄️

Hey Parents,

Yeah it's middle of October and there is snow in the forecast! Please make sure your kiddos are prepared. As a reminder, we still do outdoor recess, weather permitting, so long as the temperature is 25 degrees or above. Now would be a good time to inventory winter hats, jackets, and gloves, as we will likely have some morning recess blocks this week in the 30s.

Incidentally, can anyone teach this California boy how to shovel snow? 😂

New SEL Tool for PHCS Students!

We are happy to announce that students in PHCS will now be able to benefit from a new program to help gauge social emotional wellness and highlight student strengths. This information will be useful to individual students and their families, and it will also be a way for us to measure how well a campus is supporting student wellness and where we might improve.

No Fuss Fundraiser THIS WEEK! 💰💸

Hey PHES Families,

By now your child should have already brought home a copy of the No Fuss Fundraiser form and envelope. Please complete the form and consider donating, but even if you do not choose to donate, you can still have your child turn in the completed form. Every student who turns in a completed form this week will get a pop-it from their teacher, care of the PTO. Your donations will fund field trips for PHES students this year.

Thank you for supporting PHES and thank you so much PTO for making this happen!

Download the form today! Your student should also bring one home but we know sometimes those get eaten by the backpack monster.
