Principal's Message

Officer Jennifer Lemanske, our School Resource Officer, met with each grade level on Tuesday, February 28. Teachers held class meetings prior to the visit to talk about this opportunity to get to know her and get to ask her questions. Students came up with great questions and she did a remarkable job of addressing the questions and helping the students to look at her (and other police officers) as being there to help when needed. After their visit, I believe students will be happy to see her when she walks through our school versus being scared that something may be wrong. Students were very receptive and respectful and probably could have talked to her for way longer than the time we allotted!
