Bulldogger Back To School Plan
Part 2 - July 21, 2020
COVID-19 Mitigation Practices & Procedures
A couple of weeks ago in Part 1, we shared the academic options related to our Bulldogger Back to School Plans. In Part 2, we hope you'll find helpful information regarding our efforts to mitigate the affects of COVID-19 on student learning and the operations of our school district.
The documents attached to this letter have been crafted in hopes of providing enough information to inform but not overwhelm. We have divided the information into categories so as to bring attention to specific items of interest or concern. Please be aware that there are many operational details behind the plan that our staff members will be implementing throughout the year. All of the planning was completed to support the overall goal of having students and staff physically present at school while providing layers of safety to keep them in school.
As you review the documents, you'll notice that the plan offers information related to district wide practices that will be in place regardless of the school a student attends. Subsequently, you can review the practices outlined in the site specific guidelines to see how they relate to your child's school.
You can access the plans by clicking on the links listed below for the plan you wish to view. Additionally, plans are also available on our website at www.deweyk12.org.
Please understand that there are many challenges ahead of us and it may be necessary to adjust our plans as we progress through the school year. However, with your continued support, I believe we can find our way through these difficult times and be better prepared to serve students in the future.
Sincerely,
Vince Vincent
Superintendent
