Dec. 20th ~ Ugly Christmas Sweater Day

HOLIDAY BREAK-- BEGINS, Saturday, DECEMBER 21

HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY BREAK!

SCHOOL RESUMES: WEDNESDAY JANUARY 6, 2020

Holiday Movie Morning. Thursday, Dec. 20th

Dear Parents/Guardian,

This year, Dieck students will be going to the movies at Rave Cinemas Flint West 14 for our holiday party. The field trip will take place on Thursday, December 20th. We will be seeing the movie "Wreck-It Ralph 2" . We think this movie will be a great way to reinforce the Positivity Project Trait “perspective”. The cost is $10.00. This will cover admission, popcorn, a fruit snack, a beverage and transportation. We plan on arriving at 9:30 for a showtime of 10:00.

Important changes:

  1. Location-> Rave Cinemas Flint (1591 S Graham Rd, Flint, MI 48532)

  2. Parent count is needed-> Last year we ran out of room for some of our teachers and they were not able to sit with their students. Therefore, this year we need to know ahead of time how many parents will be attending so we can make sure we have enough room. Parents will still pay at the theater. If we run out of room this year we will have to dedicate this field trip to staff and students only for next year’s trip. Any adult attending MUST complete a VOLUNTEER INFORMATION FORM if you have not already done so. Forms are found on our district website under “Parent Links”.

Field Trip forms and money are due on December 5th. We cannot accept any late forms due to the agreement with the theater.

The theater staff will prepare the student’s beverage ahead of time. Please do not send extra money for snacks. We also ask that students refrain from refills of any kind. Their safety is important to us and unless there is an emergency we do not want them leaving their seats in the theater once they arrive.
