MQSCA Families
We are nearing the end of the Catholic Schools Walk fundraiser. At the time of writing this, we have raised about $900, and our goal is set at $25,000.00. I want to extend a sincere thank you to the families that have signed up and raised money. I am asking that every family at MQS raise at least $100. We have about 100 families at our school. If every family asks ten people for $10, that is $100. If 100 families only raised $100, we as a school would raise $10,000, and the school would be close to doubling the amount that we have through the GIFTS grant, and making the playground that much closer to a reality.
Please consider asking ten people, for $10! In addition, we have great prizes for the top earning families!
In Christ-
Mr. Lee
Safety in the Parking Lot for drop off and pick up
Please make sure that you follow the MQSCA parking lot rules. We have a 5 mph speed limit in the parking lot.
Here are a couple things to consider:
- You never know when a child will step out from a car, and our littlest friends often are hid by the car.
- Your time is not more valuable than anyone else's and we all run late, however that cannot be a reason to speed through the parking lot.
- Please follow the morning drop off and afternoon pick up procedures.
- Park in a designated parking spot when picking up. Lining up in the aisles, or along building blocking traffic flow and preventing cars to exit in a timely fashion.
Catholic Schools Walk is tomorrow!!
We are collecting donations through the end of the month. All money raised will go towards the fencing and playground.

Dear Lord, thank you for being the One I can always depend upon. Your love for me is never-ending, your provisions are always precise, and guidance is without error. Thank you for being the perfect example of dependability. Help me to depend on You Lord and not on myself. Remind me that you are the One who knows what is best for me. Teach me how to trust You and to help me remember You are always faithful. In Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Safe Enviroment Training
In order to be involved in any school activities, including chaperoning a field trip, coaching a sport, or volunteering in a classroom, you have to be safe environment trained. Below is the link to register for a training. No exceptions will be made, it is an archdiocesan mandate. If you plan to volunteer now, or in the future in any way, you MUST have attended a safe environment training. Please reach out to Bryanna Hill if you have questions about safe environment training, if you need to be trained, or if a new background check needs to be conducted. If you think you have been in safe environment training in the past, but are unsure, please double check.
Volunteers Needed
Here is the volunteer form. Please take a moment to fill it out if yo have not. We still have many spaces available to help volunteer at different event in our school through out the year.
I have some community members that have already showed interest in supporting the school for a beer and wine tasting fundraising effort. We have an opportunity to make this one night be an opportunity to raise money for our school for a playground and much needed fencing. Please consider volunteering for this event so we can start the planning process.
