Grade 4 Families: Band or Chorus Survey (Form)

Just a reminder to complete the Google Form sent out by Middle School Principals this week asking you to select band or chorus for your student for next year in grade 5.

Dear Hyman Fine Families,

This past week, our 1st-4th-graders celebrated their 100th day of school! Monday will be our kindergarten's 100th Day! This milestone is one to be proud of.

We also celebrate Black History Month in February. We honor Black Americans and celebrate the contributions of those who have led the efforts for true equity and justice for all. While it’s important that we, as educators and families, do this all year long, February provides us an opportunity to amplify the message and explicitly teach students that their voices and words have power and can lead to change.

The Center for Racial Justice in Education has made available the following resources to support families in teaching their children about Black History Month:

There are wonderful picture books included in these resources and our library has many other titles for students to take home this month and all year.

Valentine's Day Classroom Celebrations - Classrooms may celebrate Valentine's Day. In keeping with the HFES food and allergy policies we ask you please do do not send in candy.

More information is forthcoming.

In addition to downloading the app, guardians will need to set up their accounts. This can be done by going to the link contained in the email sent to all guardians yesterday (and following the directions)
