Are you stuck in a video rut?

Window Paning (pg. 45) and Picture Splash (pg. 48) are great VIEW strategies that not only provide a framework for the lesson, but build academic vocabulary. Try one this week!

It is time....

Our campus website will officially change to a new format on February 12. You will have a teacher information page, but any documents your parents currently access, will not be available. Any links on your current teacher page will need to be saved and then transferred over. Technology has provided a video for that too!

Each teacher will need to begin exploring CANVAS as this is the program Keller ISD expects teachers to use to communicate with parents. Colleen is our CANVAS rep and can help with anything you are having trouble with. There are also very easy to follow "help" videos.

During your transition from campus website to CANVAS, please make sure you are communicating with parents and providing them with any documents or handouts they may need.

We're here to help you though this change - please let us know what you need!

T-TESS Summatives

It is time to begin thinking about the evidence you want to provide at your T-TESS summative. We will be scheduling those in April, but want to give you plenty of notice.

At the summative, we will score the dimensions in Domain 4 based on the evidence you provide, review classroom data, discuss the attainment of the goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the year, and discuss new goals for the coming school year.

The last section of your red T-TESS folder outlines what is needed for the summative meeting. If you have any questions, please let us know!

You're Invited

Piada Italian Street Food

We are a modern Italian restaurant leading the nation’s fine fast-casual movement. Piada serves made-to-order Piadas, Pasta Bowls, and Chopped Salads.

We will be opening our Fort Worth location in early April, and I would like to invite all Ridgeview Elementary School staff to our Pre-Opening Event. We will be inviting groups into the restaurant before the opening to introduce the community to Piada and give our team some practice before opening to the public.

To register yourself, friends, and family to be a Pre-Opening VIP, please visit www.mypiada.com/alliance.

Spirit Days Reminder

R.O.C.K. Wednesdays are for R.O.C.K. t-shirts - this is not a day for jeans and an RES shirt.

Fridays and other designated "jeans days" are for RES shirts and jeans. You may wear TCHS or KHS shirts on Fridays since they are our feeder pattern high schools.

Jeans Passes are to wear jeans and an RES shirt.
