Technology Updates
Beginning at 6:00 p.m. on December 26th, the Department of Technology (DOT) will be testing the process for authenticating VBCPS users into Schoology using Google credentials. The testing will continue through much of the day on December 27th. Individuals attempting to access Schoology during this timeframe may be prompted to provide their VB Schools Google credentials.
DOT will also be testing the use of Clever Badges for K-2 student authentication during this same time period. Any user attempting to log in to a Chromebook during this testing may see the image shown below. Selecting ‘Log in with Active Directory’ will direct users to the familiar VBSchools login page.
DOT expects to conclude the testing on the 27th and to resume the typical login procedures for Chromebooks and Schoology. Any changes resulting from this test will be communicated and implemented in January.
