Democracy
by Sarah Gregory
What is a democracy? Indirect? Direct?
Democracy is a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives. Indirect democracy is when the citizens elect a representative to make laws on their behalf. Direct democracy is when all laws are created by a general vote of society.
What is their economy?
The economy of democracy is marketing. Marketing is selling products or services, including market research and advertising. A market isn't necessarily like what you see in Aladdin, for example Walmart, Krogers, and Aldi are all markets, because they sell products and advertise as well.
Who uses democracy?
Countries that use democracy are the United Kingdom, Uruguay, Mauritius, and the United States.
