Course Communication
Type 1: Post an Update
*No matter what you chose to use Updates for, they will appear for your students both within the course and also on the activity feed area of the students' Schoology homepage.
Type 2: Send Message
Teachers have the ability to send a message to:
- Co-admins of the course
- Members of the course
- All parents associated with students in the course
*For the members of the course, these messages will show as a notification in the upper right hand corner of the students' screen. Also, an email or text message will be sent to the students' if they have configured their options to receive messages there.
**Messages will not appear in the Updates area of the Schoology homepage like poll or updates do.
