Listen to the last chapter of The War I Finally Won. See what you remember from the book by taking this quiz on Kahoot. Please use your first name for your nickname on any of the Kahoots that are assigned this week.

Answer the question of the day on Edmodo WRITING by writing a short paragraph with complete sentences and proper mechanics. Don't forget a topic sentence!!

I know some of you might be sad, but we are finished with the daily 5 Minute Grammar! Try this Kahoot for a review of Fifth Grade Grammar instead.

Math

Do the math review posted on Edmodo each day and take the quiz on Friday. When I post the answers for Monday's review, I have been posting explanations of how to work the problems. They are the same type of problem for the whole week. Make sure to check those out if you don't understand how to do any of the problems.

Continue to practice your math skills on www.ixl.com. My free subscription to IXL is good until June 15. You can continue to practice until then.

Science

The past few weeks we have been doing activities having to do with outer space. This week explore this website to learn more interesting things about space.

When finished, do the Space Collage that has been assigned on Seesaw to share what you have learned.

Social Studies

Watch Liberty's Kids - Episode 5 - Midnight Ride

When you have finished watching the episode, do the

"Liberty Kids - Episode 5 -Midnight Ride" quiz on Edmodo.

Also answer the question on Edmodo. Post your answer in the comments.

P.E.

Time to get wet! Run through the sprinkler, play catch with a water balloon or soaked sponge. Have a water fight with a hose, bucket or squirt gun. Create a relay race transferring water from a bucket to a jug using a cup, sponge or spoon! Go wading in a creek.

Music

Remember the song, “Shine, Jesus, Shine”?

Shine, Jesus, shine, fill this land with the Father’s glory

Blaze, Spirit, blaze, set our hearts on fire

Flow, river, flow, flood the nations with grace and mercy

Send forth your word and let there be light.

Sing the song and then pick out a phrase from the song and draw a picture of it. Use lots of color and create a masterpiece!

Art

In honor of Memorial Day, draw the American flag. Remember there are 7 red stripes and 6 white stripes. There are 50 stars in the blue rectangle but that might be a little tricky to make all 50 fit. Just add as many as you can.

Those that are completing the memory books, please have all your pages completed by the materials pickup day at school. (The last page for the memory books will be assigned on W day.) There will be a labeled box/container there in which you should place your pages. It might be a good idea to have your name on each page and to paper clip them together. You should have a total of eight different items. If you need another copy of anything, let me know. Thanks for all your hard work!! I will mail the completed memory book to you as soon as I have them finished. The students I have down as completing a memory book are: Avery, Holly, Maryn, Cale, Charly, Kate, Addison, and Ethan.
