Congratulations to MHS Yearbook Class
Walsworth’s premier idea book, Possibilities, just released its newest volume and it is an honor for us to feature the 2018 Montgomery High School yearbook in this edition as an outstanding source of inspiration for yearbook staffs around the country. This edition of Possibilities contains 868 examples from 248 school yearbooks, placing Montgomery’s yearbook among the best yearbooks that Walsworth prints. We are proud of the hard work that Mr. Forrest and his yearbook students do every year.
Upcoming Guided study college visits to the MHS CCC.
All MHS students have already been emailed this information in their Naviance message box. Please encourage your students to check their Naviance messages so they can take advantage of these opportunities. Students can also do research on these colleges prior to the visits on Naviance as well.

WASC PARENT SURVEY
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is recognized as one of six regional associations that accredit public and private schools, colleges, and universities in the United States. The commission validates the curricular, instructional, and support programs for California schools.
This survey will allow Montgomery’s stakeholders to update their current vision and mission, review practices currently in place, and provide opportunities for improvement. We welcome your constructive feedback. Every member of our school community plays an integral part in evaluating and participating in our self-study report. Please participate in our study by completing the anonymous survey. To fill it out, visit: WASC 2018-2019 Parent Survey
Project Graduation
Montgomery High uses a cell phone app called “STOPit” for students and parents to report information anonymously
The app allows students to report incidents such as bullying, hazing or other concerns, anonymously, to school administrators. By texting with the app, students are instantly connected to staff who can resolve issues. School administrators will still investigate the reports, just as they do for any current concerns. The anonymity and texting capability have been used successfully in many schools. Watch this STOPit video to learn more
